We make a thin crust pizza with a Santa Fe twist: a perfect flour crust rolled in cornmeal for a unique flavor and texture, topped with high quality delicious ingredients.  The majority of our food is handcrafted on site, from our signature pizza dough to our roasted meats to our sub-breads to our  sauces and dressings. We also offer a delicious gluten-free pizza crust made from scratch (we are not a certified gluten-free facility).

Our in-shop Grab & Go case is stocked daily with our customers' favorite items including our housemade salad dressings, desserts, our signature pizza dough & sauce for home pizza making adventures and a new variety of craft sodas!  We are also excited to have a freezer case stocked with our neighbor's delicious La Lecheria Craft Ice Cream pints!

We are committed to partnering with local farms and producers when possible & are super-proud to purchase our beef & pork from New Mexico ranchers who raise Heritage Beef Cows humanely with the utmost respect for quality and preservation.  We serve 100% cage-free natural chicken.  We also partner with local farms for seasonal produce and delicious goat & cow cheeses that we use on salads, pizzas & in our tasty soups.

Back Road Pizza has been voted Santa Fe’s #1 Best Pizza in 2012,  2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022, 2023 & 2024 and has been voted one of the city’s best restaurants for 17 years running in The Santa Fe Reporter. We have received nods from both local and national sources including a flattering review in SearchLight New Mexico the PasaTiempo, Pizza Today Magazine, &  USA Today Top 10 Best Santa Fe Restaurants.
